One of my favorite looks right now for a kitchen is a mix of grey and white painted cabinets, so we’ve collected 40 beautiful grey and white kitchens to show some options and creative kitchen ideas. Grey and White Kitchen Cabinets
A two-tone kitchen cabinetry design with grey and white cabinets is a beautiful way to update an outdated kitchen! Whether you choose a dark charcoal grey or a lighter grey, mixing white upper cabinets and lower grey cabinets can work for any kitchen layout.

This kitchen remodel went from dated to gorgeous thank to the dark grey and white painted kitchen cabinets. Removing a couple of cabinet doors for open shelving for baskets and white ceramics and adding a grey tile backsplash rounded out this remodel. See more details here.

Depending on the color scheme of the rest of your home, you may want to choose grey cabinetry with a different undertone. This coastal cottage kitchen update uses a medium smokey gray paint with white upper cabinets.

Not sure about two tone cabinetry? Instead of painting upper and lower cabinets different colors, introduce a new color by painting the kitchen island grey instead! This modern white kitchen features a textured gray wood design on the island, with a matching painted pantry door and grey solid surface countertops to round out the grey and white kitchen color scheme.
Or, reverse the grey and white kitchen color scheme with grey wall cabinets and a white island. The white subway tile and countertops really make the light grey cabinetry and large metal pulls shine!

Grey Kitchens With White Countertops
A different take on the two-tone grey and white kitchen is grey kitchen cabinetry with white countertops or tile backsplash. This kitchen uses a large grey subway tile backsplash and grey-toned wood for open shelving as well.
One way to make a big impact when painting cabinets is to also extend the cabinetry to the ceiling, like in the charcoal grey kitchen remodel featured here.

Yes, this is actually gray — Wedgewood Gray! Even if you don’t have an island, you can paint and shiplap a peninsula in a white kitchen for a nice accent, featured here.
Can grey countertops get much more perfect than these grey marble countertops in a white kitchen? I think not.
A grey tile backsplash doesn’t have to be high contrast to be high impact — the subtle color differences between cabinets, backsplash, and marble countertops give this neutral white kitchen a lot of style.
